The Veeam Community held a hackathon in 2023 which I had the pleasure to be a part of. It was my first ever hackathon and it was a great experience from meeting the group assigned to you, working through ideas to seeing your concept come to life. It also is great when you win as well. I highly recommend participating in one.

I took part in Veeam ‘s first Community Hackathon. I am not a coder so initially did not sign up but was told that you did not need to code in order to participate.
This was in fact that the case and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience as a Team Leader. One of the biggest benefits was that the hackathon mirrored similar situation in real life when people with different skillsets come together to solve a problem or create a project.
Now that I have my first hackathon under my belt I am very much looking forward to the next one since the experience that I gained will undoubtedly help me do even better next time!

The Veeam Community Hackathon was a great opportunity to take a new “product” from idea to development to “launch” (hackathon presentation) together with a wonderful team.
